90 days of YOGA

it addition to my big big goal ! I think I am going to do 90 days of yoga ! as a start !!!!!!!!!!

I started pvr'ing a YOGA show so there is not excuse that i don't have enough time or missed the show I have it right at my finger tips!

Tomorrow is step class....I love step it is such a different work out from spin class!
I missed bogging the last couple of days I hurt my shoulder ! no idea how but I did :( now when in spin class you don't think of how much leaning forward would hurt your shoulder I thought I was going to fall off of my bike it hurt so bad!

I was able to get my friend Erin to come to spin class .... she is not a spinner but she loved it :)  and it was a great way to visit (before and after) !

231 days until the EPL half marathon

so i have 2 people already ready to join my 1/2 .... so exciting

there is 231 days 17 hrs 27 min and 27 sec till their next race

Or 33 weeks to go..............

1/2 marathon for 2013

EPF Half Marathon takes place in April 2013, will be the half that I will be registering for, I will try and put together a team of 4 people to run. Now to figure out a running schedule to train for April  2013 and a diet plan to get in the best physical shape I could be in by april 2013
Now keep in mind
April 2011  I was 383 lbs
April 2012 I was 268 lbs
April 2013 I hope to be 168 lbs or less this would be something I would be happy with I would be 215 days lighter in 2 years

what have I committed to!


A swim a 2.4-mile (3.86 km)
A bike 112-mile (180.25 km)
A run 26.2-mile (42.2 km) marathon
Average completion time about 12 hours

the year of the YES!

How am I going to train for this huge goal !!!!
Well I think it will be the year of the YES
I have committed myself to be in the best shape I can possibly be in by JANUARY 2013 … what will happen in January ? well it will be the best way to train for my ultimate goal! When a friend asks me to do a 5 km a 10km an obstacle course or any event that physical activities the answer will be YES!  There will be many emotional ups and downs with this as I am sure a lot of my family time will suffer but the answer is yes! I have already said to friends and family I want to do another ½ and the ms bike tour its Leduc to Camrose  that is approx 86 km each way !

The big decision

A few years ago I decided to run a  ½ marathon just after my wedding, and of course me and my bestie trained hard for it…. And just before the ½ marathon I found out the I was pregnant… now this was planned but it certainly happened quicker than we expected.   What to do should I still run the ½ or cut it back to the 10 km! Well I decided that since I trained hard for the ½ I was going to do it Prego and all. I finished it with a sprained ankle and a full bladder but finished it !!! One of my proudest moments!!!
I remember that feeling like it was yesterday, 3 years have gone by and I have only done one 5 km walk since.  I struggled with postpartum depression badly! I decided I was not happy I have gained a ton of weight and cried all the time… when did I feel GREAT … when I crossed the finish line!
So I joined the Gym in April of 2011! I have worked out a lot I have lost 115 lbs and need to lose more like 113 lbs. Now I know 115 lbs in a year isn’t anything to sneeze at but I WANT MORE……
So not long ago I was sitting at home messing around on FB and I see a friend posting about her cousin who is doing an IRON MAN  yep that’s right what a huge goal….. I all of a sudden had this great idea …….. I need some goal so why not I WILL DO AN IRON MAN BEFORE I AM 40! Now that is several years away but think of the feeling of when you cross the finish line….
